INVITATION

It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 2nd Prague Protein Spring meeting on the subject "Proteins in Different Environments". We believe that this theme not only invites us to reflect on a classical point of view from a contemporary perspective, but also proposes a discussion of its current progress, transformation,new developments and methodologies.

We have outstanding speakers covering an interesting range of issues. The collection spans proteins in membranes, denaturants, osmolytes and ions to their behavior in cells, crystals and aggregates. The meeting not only presents an overview of the latest developments in the study of protein in different conditions but also demonstrates the basis of the field and its methodological background. We see the essential characteristics of this meeting in its dedication and focused mission delivered by highly aclaimed scientists and motivated students and their inter-generation interactions.

The PPS 2012 will be hosted by the Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry and will be held in a beautiful academy villa in the picturesque city of Prague, Czech Republic from May 3rd to May 6th, 2012.
